Now, if you’ve been tuned into my “show” at all, you probably know I’m not a tactics kinda goy.
I do not use the latest, seggsiest, killa tactics passed around like a sorority girl by all the copywriting & marketing gooruus.
Nope.
I like to stick to the tried n true direct response principles used by the top copywriter's who've paved this industry.

Because this stuff simply works.
It’s reliable as grandmas cookies.

Good copywriting, at its naked root, is mere PSYCHOLOGY.

While back I was reading a glorious copywriting book written by Victor Schwab (one of the founding fathers of direct response advertising) and he explained the importance of using the word YOU in sales copy.
He also explained this great concept called “WIIFM” (What’s In It For Me).
Meaning:
Your prospect does not care about YOU.
They don’t give a dog’s blue bottom about how cool your product is, how many awards you’ve won, how many years you’ve been in business and so on.
The ONLY thing they care about is WHAT’S IN IT FOR THEM.
What do THEY get by reading your copy…
What do THEY get by buying the product or service…
Why will THEY benefit from choosing your client's company over the trazillion other brands just like em.
I believe that the first step in writing killah copy is really, truly knowing your target audience better then they know themselves.
To know what they’re feeling, thinking and experiencing BEFORE you ever write a single word.
To know their biggest problems and what THEY WANT more than anything (related to what your clients product or service.)
Once you uncover this info, you will never struggle to write money-oozing copy again.
You’ll blow away any “competition” and have others looking at you like your using some voodoo spells.
But you aren’t.
You’re simply using a copywriting PRINCIPLE embedded in human psychology, that works like crackpipes.
