I know I certainly read emails (and write) while doing my bidniz.

Creepy?

Maybe.

But here’s a bone-crunching valuable lesson:

In the wise words of the great Robert Collier…

“You want to enter the convo playing inside your reader’s mind.”

This example takes it to the extreme. But it works like a bundle of dynamite.

You see, when you read something (especially a headline) that is so personal and specific to your situation, where it looks as if the writer wrote it specifically for you, it grabs your undivided attention and glues your eye-balls to keep reading.

It’s almost impossible NOT to read.

This is what you want to do with everything you write.

To achieve this…

You must write to ONE specific person (your ideal reader).

And you must crawl inside their mind and their heart.

Live inside their.

Walk 100 miles in their shoes.

Feel what they feel.

Think what they think.

Then, and only then, will you be able to write irresistible copy that hooks their attention, drags them to your call to action and forces them to buy from you (in an ethical way).
