Yesterday, I wrote a blog post titled, “The 20 Greatest Copywriters of All Time”.
For each copywriter…
I included 1 BIG IDEA I’ve gained through studying their ads, reading their books, taking their courses, etc.
Each big idea has drastically improved my copywriting skills, boosted sales for my clients and stuffed more green presidents into my bank account.
My goal when learning is to scoop out at least one golden nugget of wisdom.
Something groundbreaking that I can apply to my writing & marketing, right away.
Bob Bly (master copywriter) does this too.
Even though he’s a top 20 copywriter of all time, he still reads copywriting books on the regular.
Because 1 big idea scooped up and applied can potentially make you 100x your money back.
Bob’s probably heard 99% of the tips & tricks inside the books, but it’s that 1% he HASN’T heard that makes all the difference.
A lot of copywriting books are very similar.
And that’s fine.
As long as they’re rooted in the direct response fundamentals, you’re still getting your money’s worth, because you can never learn the fundamentals enough.
But most of the time, each copywriting book has 1 or more golden nuggets that are NOT discussed in any other book.
These nuggets are unique to the copywriter and their way of thinking, their writing process, their overall strategy.
This is what I look for when reading copywriting, marketing and sales books.
But even if you are sitting on a proverbial treasure chest filled with gold bricks, you’ll never realize it if you AREN’T applying these rare tips to your writing.
The same is true with the information I send out each month to Copy Kings members.
Especially the 7 bonuses I give away to new members.
Because, applying just one of these bonuses to your writing and lead gen, can potentially make you back a year’s worth or more of your monthly Copy Kings investment.
After all, that’s the goal.
To quite literally print more money than you put in, month after month.
With every single training I send to your inbox.
